Terra-Scepter

Terra-Scepter is a full-featured network management tool that allows traps to be handled, configurations to be managed and devices to be polled. The polling is done by means of a high-speed polling module that can reach speeds of 10,000 polls per second (naturally most networks won't support this, but the potential is there).

Terra-Scepter provides an integrated scripting language so that customers can decide how devices should be polled or traps from the devices managed. This can be to deploy a configuration or send a trap.

Terra-Scepter uses a web-based configuration manager so that no need of expensive X-Windows products are needed, as is the case with some other expensive network node managers.

An optional module will soon be available that will interpolate NetFlow packets recieved from devices into the network map. On the network maps parts of the network are displayed. The maps contain 3d objects and connections to other devices. The connections will increase/decrease in size in porportion to the traffic flowing on the link. The link can then be selected to bring up detailed statistics for that link and the ability to configure quality of service for the link.
