Configuration
Manager

The Configuration Manager is a tool to collect and compile configurations of network devices. Devices are can be periodically polled for configuration. These are stored in a database. Comparisons can be made and actions can be triggered when a configuration does not match the last deployed version.
Commands are provided so that a network node manager can or other network monitoring utility can be used to trigger loads and collections of configurations to/from the devices. This can also be a powerfull feature when combined with a trap handler to deploy configurations or change configurations based on physical changes to the network.

Modules are present to collect data from hosts, routers/switches and other devices that are network attached. These can be via ftp, telnet or ssh.
